Two MSc theses developed as part of European project SafeCloud awarded by AP2SI

André Joaquim and Diogo Raposo, members of the SafeCloud team and students at Instituto Superior Técnico, have respectively received a Merit Award and an Honourable Mention from AP2SI, the Portuguese Association for the Promotion of Information Security, for their MSc theses titled "vtTLS: A Vulnerability-Tolerant Communication Protocol" and "MACHETE: Multi-path Communication for Security".

The European project SafeCloud was mentioned in Jornal de Notícias. Francisco Maia, a researcher in project SafeCloud, talks about illegal access to private information by apps. SafeCloud Photos, an application developed as part of SafeCloud, was also mentioned as an example of a safety app for photos.

European project aims at complete confidential data in the cloud
