The SafeCloud European project co-sponsored the 1st Workshop on Privacy by Design in Distributed Systems (W-P2DS), which was held co-located with EuroSys'18 in Porto, Portugal.
The goal of the workshop is to gather researchers and practitioners from the cryptography, distributed systems, and security systems communities to discuss the current state of the art, emerging challenges and trends, as well as novel solutions, implementation and deployment of privacy-preserving systems and applications.
The European project SafeCloud is (one of the) co-sponsors of the 2nd Workshop on System Software for Trusted Execution (SysTEX 2017) ) as part of SOSP international CORE A* conference. This conference will be held in Shanghai, China during October 28–31, 2017.
The 2nd Workshop on System Software for Trusted Execution (SysTEX) will focus on systems research challenges related to trusted execution environments (TEEs), and explore new ideas and strategies for the implementation of trustworthy systems with TEEs.
Triin Siil from Cybernetica participates in the Nordic Health Research and Innovation Network conference (NRI-Conference) that had a special parallel session on Data sharing, Privacy and Innovation in the medical domain. The main objective of the NRI-Conference is to provide a Nordic platform for discussing new ideas and contribute to a stronger cooperation among professionals in the healthcare industry in the Nordic region.
